Folk Music Session for playing folk tunes or songs from Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland, America or from anywhere that you find a tune or a song appealing to play or sing. Wayne Millar leads both this Folk and the Bluegrass group.
We also run a monthly Saturday Jamberoo Folk Session from 11 – 2:30pm featuring guest artists / local folk musicians in a jam session style workshop that is both social and a chance to mine musical jewels of the folk tradition. Music is provided, all are welcome to participate and BYO lunch.
Bluegrass and Old Time Session accommodates musicians that are looking for a bluegrass session where the tunes are played at a slow pace- open to all levels including beginners. For the more experienced there is a chance to play at a faster pace after the tunes have been played slowly. If you want to find out more you can email Wayne at firstname.lastname@example.org
